We were delighted to be able to donate some of our wonderful oysters to help OzHarvest with their campaign – Nourish Our Country.
We supplied oysters for two OzHarvest events where Diego Muñoz (Head Chef of Astrid y Gastón, Lima Peru, recently voted number 14 Best Restaurant in the World) made guest appearances to treat some lucky customers to his inspiring cooking.
One of these events was at Harvested, OzHarvest’s excellent pop-up restaurant in Pyrmont, on 29 July. We provided oysters for the ‘Day Catch Ceviche’ in a Peruvian-themed dinner, which was described as a menu highlight.
OzHarvest is an organisation that provides food rescue services and educational programs, so it is a cause that we are thrilled to be a part of. We were also pleased to hear that 100% of the event’s proceeds went to OzHarvest.
We are honoured to donate our fresh oysters to such events and we hope to be a part of many more in the future.
